2. Service description
Enriterra offers guided experiences of hiking, trekking, multi-day treks and interpretive routes, led by a certified guide. We are not a travel agency and do not offer closed packages or our own accommodation or transport services.
When a trip requires logistical support (accommodation, transport, meals), Enriterra facilitates coordination with independent local providers, but each of these services is contracted directly between the client and the relevant provider, who is solely responsible for it.
3. Booking and formalisation of the contract
A booking is considered confirmed once the client receives written confirmation (WhatsApp, email) and, where applicable, payment or the corresponding deposit has been made. Enriterra reserves the right not to confirm a booking if the activity is not suited to the physical or technical level indicated by the client.
4. Prices and payment method
- One-day routes: full payment at the time of booking or within a short period before departure.
- Multi-day routes / treks with accommodation: a 30% deposit of the total amount when confirming the booking; the remainder is paid up to 30 days before the activity starts.
Prices include professional guiding and, when expressly stated, activity insurance. They do not include transport, accommodation, meals or personal equipment costs, unless otherwise stated on the route’s page.
5. Participation requirements
- Participants must be at least 18 years old, or take part accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Minors need written authorisation signed by their legal guardians.
- The client declares to be in adequate physical condition for the booked activity and informs Enriterra of any relevant medical condition before the trip begins.
- Enriterra reserves the right to exclude a participant from the activity if it considers that their physical condition, technical skill or equipment puts their own safety or that of the group at risk.
6. Assumption of risk and liability
Mountain and hiking activities involve risks inherent to the natural environment (terrain, weather, wildlife, among others). The client accepts these risks when booking the activity.
Enriterra acts with the diligence of a certified professional guide (TD2 – Mid-Mountain Sports Technician) and holds civil liability and accident insurance for the activities it organises.
Enriterra is not responsible for services contracted with third parties (accommodation, transport, catering), which are the sole responsibility of the relevant provider.
7. Changes and cancellations by Enriterra
Enriterra may modify the itinerary or cancel a trip for safety reasons (adverse weather, terrain conditions, etc.) or if the minimum number of participants is not reached. In these cases, the client may choose between a full refund of the amount paid or a change to another available date, at no additional cost.
8. Cancellation by the client
See our Cancellation Policy for the applicable time frames and refund percentages.
9. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article 103.l of the Spanish Consolidated Text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users (TRLGDCU), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to services related to leisure activities when the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance, as is the case with our trips. Once the booking is confirmed, the Cancellation Policy indicated in the previous point applies, rather than the general right of withdrawal.
10. Images and image rights
Photographs or videos may be taken during activities, which Enriterra may use for promotional purposes (website, social media). Any participant who does not wish to appear must inform us before the activity begins.
11. Data protection
The data provided is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Complaints
Clients may address any complaint to info@enriterra.es. As users within the European Union, you can also access the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
13. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals that correspond in accordance with consumer protection regulations, without prejudice to the jurisdiction that legally corresponds to the consumer.
