About us — Our commitments

What we don’t compromise on

Leave No Trace

Leave No Trace

Minimising our footprint and leaving places the same or better than we found them.

Safety

Safety

We plan every activity with rigour so the logistics and safety hold up — without tipping into rigidity.

Local economy

Local economy

We prioritise local accommodations, mountain huts and partners who share a responsible way of understanding the land.

Respect

Respect

We understand nature as natural and cultural heritage. We respect flora, fauna and the people who live there.

Professionalism

Professionalism

Certified guides in ongoing training. A good guide never stops learning.

Adapted groups

Adapted groups

Every proposal states the level of physical demand and, where relevant, the technical difficulty, so you know what to expect.

Adaptability

Adaptability

Good planning doesn’t mean rigidity: we leave room for the group to adjust the pace when conditions allow.

Learning

Learning

Curiosity is the engine of learning: we spark interest that keeps you observing long after the activity has ended.

Commitments — Leave No Trace

The 7 principles of Leave No Trace

Leave No Trace is an international standard of good practice in nature. At Enriterra we use it as a reference framework across every activity:

  1. Plan ahead and prepare
  2. Travel and camp on durable surfaces
  3. Dispose of waste properly — you carry it all out, no exceptions
  4. Leave what you find (rocks, plants, archaeological remains…)
  5. Minimise campfire impact
  6. Respect wildlife
  7. Be considerate of other visitors

Commitments — Supporting the local economy

We choose accommodations, mountain huts and partners using the same criteria with which we design our routes: real knowledge of the land, a close and professional relationship, and a shared commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment. Whenever possible, we prioritise small family businesses and local cooperatives over large chains, so that what you spend on your route flows directly back to the people and communities who look after it.

Enriterra is not a travel agency: we don’t sell package deals or act as intermediaries for a product. We are mountain guides — we design, plan and accompany you through every step of the experience, which means whoever walks beside you knows the terrain first-hand.
